Yes you would need the iso cable and to take an ignition live from the fuse box unless you use a can interface for steering controls which gets a ignition from the can

I don't have steering controls so that doesn't matter.

Does that effect the iso cable?

No so you need an iso cable to connect your radio to the car then you need to take a ignition feed from your fuse box at the drivers side of the dash big thick black wire but use a probe to test

Seems to much hassle for me to be honest, I tried doing small jobs on my past car and messed them up, think I'll just leave it to be honest, I was hoping it was just literally a straight swap

Thanks for the help

Halfords do a wiring harness for about €10 (£7?) That swaps the constant live and ignition live. I've swapped out the radio in my 2003 and haven't regretted it.
