Rear Alcantara Seat Removal Cupra ST

I’m in the process of adding some deadening to my Cupra ST to reduce road noise/some exhaust drone. Since I have a rattle coming from the rear seat, I want to remove it in order to add deadening and try to find the rattle.

I have seen some topics on the forum but for me It’s still unclear wether the seat is mounted at front just by the two grommets.

Anyone who has removed the seat especially with Alcantara finish?

The bench seat fitment is broadly the same for 5 door and ST models.

Not completed this on Mk3 Leon, but completed identical procedure on my Mk3 Octavia estate - just as a word of caution, I ended up replacing the plastic grommets that hold the metal loops on bottom of the bench seat as they didn’t hold the seat in place particularly well once refitted.

Thank you for your reply. I will try end of this week. I heard about the grommets which have to be replaced after each removal. I will ask the dealer if they have them in stock.
