Rear Bumper

well went to the pictures tonight and came out to find my bumper is mangled in, just on the driver side, its been pushed in bad and has cracked around the crash bar. Needless to say Im no happy bunny, No CCTV No witnesses I am devastated. However it is only a facelift bumper so might be to get my hands on one at the breakers yard tomorow as they have 2 silver beezers in with mild damage, shall see but failing that might be an upgrade job.

How much you reckon for a new bumper from a breakers?

No idea but they must have hit your car pretty hard to do that. Had a woman rear end me in her primera, jumped out my car expecting my rear end to be caved in but really it was her car that was fooked whilst my rear bumper is only slighty pushed out at the side. Insurance company gonna hopefully put on a new rear bumper.

i got a quote on a complete rear cupra bumper recently, it was 100 quid, i think i started a thread about it. but yeah 100 quid was what they quoted. it's red though, i may have the number still if you're interested

got a bumper for £25 today so no more massive dent just lots of bad scratches on it. Shall wait till next payday and get it sprayed.

Right well the bumper is on as of last night (got it on and still had time to go out)

Got a few marks and need the plate putting back on but other than that for £25 Im rather happy.

aint got any pics yet mate, havnt had a chance and got so many mods coming. Got a £300 parts bill with seat next week so might have some pics then, also fancy getting the bumper done before I sort anything else out.
