illegal to remove and i aint got a clue why you would want to. They are there for a reason and unlike other safety devices you dont have to pay extra to have them fitted to your car
Not all cars have them, so why would it be illegal. My car has rear lights, and relfectors in those lights when they are not on. As to a reason why to remove them. Im just thinking of ideas of styling and to be different.
I'm not an Ibiza owner, but I cannot see a retro-reflector on the rear lamp cluster on the new SC. I'm suspecting like my Altea, the only reflectors are on the bumper.
Don't remember my rears being reflective at all, can't imagine SEAT would go to the additional expense of adding them to the bumper if they weren't needed by law.

Even if the rear lamps have reflectors some cars require them due to the position of the rear light cluster. e.g ford focus. Unsure about the ibiza and can't be arsed going out to check!
