I've taken the wash wipe apart and there's a small copper/brass tube that's corroded and broken inside the wiper spindle. So when I wash/squirt it fills my boot with water
So... what's my options?
I'm fishing for tips here, not sure how to fix it, any ideas appreciated
Cheers
So... what's my options?
- I could buy the whole new unit from seat (kerching)
- I could go wiperless, is this still cool?! I did this as a lad with my old golf
- I could snip a wire (which one?)
- I could pull a fuse (I think the wiper motor is on the same fuse so I reckon this isn't an option)
- replace/fix the tube? Is there a clever fix I don't know about for the corroded tube? anyone make replacements? ... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kevin.yeoman/A3RearWashWipe/A3RearWiperRepairKit.jpg
