Rear window demister

Mine is clear within 2 minutes. Have you got wet gear in your boot??

Hi.
Thanks for the reply. Boot is empty. Checked spare wheel well - all dry. Only thing I can think of is that outside temp was zero degrees. Had to scrape off the frost. Maybe the glass was just so cold on outside that warm air inside the car created so much new condensation that the heater got 'overwhelmed'. That was tbe first time I'd had to use the rear screen heater.

I previously slated the rear screen demister but tonight I had it clear rapidly when I nipped out on a short journey. I'm now of the opinion the level of condensation was more the problem than the demister.
