Rear Wiper Size

Hi,

Does anybody know what size the rear wiper is? Can't seem to find this anywhere!

Sure they are the same as a facelift mk 2, Bosch A281H is the model number

Cheers for the quick response. I've had a quick look and whilst is has the part number I don't think it says what size it is?

I'm not after a direct replacement, looking to replace it with a different brand, which is why I need the size.

Ah ok sorry my bad, the size of this wiper is 280mm/12" mate

Yes i have just changed mine and it was 151/2" from wiper blades ltd off internet cheap, good quality and quick delivery i have bought front and rear blades from these people and very happy with them

If it's a SC then the Bosch replacement is A4034 which is actually a 16" blade but it fits and works ok for me. And www.wiperblades.co.uk are a good company to deal with, excellent service.

Thanks for the replies. I'm buying a Michelin Stealth, already have 2 on the front and rate them very highly.

Was just a pain trying to find out what size, will get a 16" today and hopefully it will fit!

They are on offer at Costco at the moment - going to try and get some tomorrow. The Michelin site doesn't list a part number for the rear though

I am not sure that the rear will fit. The wiper blade seems to have an inbuilt housing which I don't think will fit under the housing on the wiper arm.

I also noticed the 16"on offer at Tesco for £7 MSW 12916

I purchased the fronts from Costco a few months back and can't recommend them highly enough, they're great.

However, I also purchased the rear from Costco last week, and Dephead is right, it doesn't fit. The fittings are too fat, so there is no way to fit it at all. Will have to take that one back and find a different wiper from somewhere else.

Interestingly, I measured the Costco 16" against the one I removed, and the Costco is about 1" longer.

I've lost track of who wants a 13" and who wants a 15"... I assume the 15" is on the SC?

But if it's a 13", the Bosch A331H is a direct replacement and perfect fit. Can be had for 8 or 9 quid online.

I notice that wiperblades.co.uk have the A331H down as a specific fitment because of the fitting. These seem to be sold at a premium to the non specific fitments.

Is there really a difference? Especially as fleabay says that the A331H doesn't fit my Leon MK3 MY 2014!

I'm going to look for another rear replacement online and order one soon enough, when I can be bothered to getting round to it. There seems to be different sites telling us about different sizes and different fittings all over the place.

Agreed! All very confusing.

Maybe the Wiper Blades one is the best and cheapest option but I know from experience that BOSCH are pretty good but at a £6 premium?

I bought the A331H from Amazon for £8.90 and it fitted just fine on my 63 plate 5 door FR - in fact it was pretty much identical to the VAG one which came off save for the Bosch logo.

wiper blades are a good supplier. Bought their Bosch for my daughter's Golf5 and my wife's Saab - good price, very quick delivery, and perfect fit.
Leon's only 9 months/9000 miles and still wiping fine
