Remap Insurance quote

Can anyone tell me if this is excessive for insurance quote:

Extra 0-10% BHP = £20 - £25
Extra 11-25% BHP = £220 (What!)
Extra 26+% = Didn't bother asking lol

Is that £220 excessive or normal?

adrian flux are a good company to deal with. I have my astra with them which is basically the following: 20's, V6 , custom body work, one off paint, one off interior, insured for an agreed value of 30K (most they would give) and I pay £800 with all mods declared

Well I got one of my cars a 140tdi chipped by superchips and the power went from 140 to 198 that is a 42% rise ,Superchips gave me the name of 2 insurance companies that they have an agreement with when they asked me what power my car had they said that it had too much and could not give a price They said a 25% increase was the most they could do ,I could tell they had no idea but I thought Superchips would of told them what they do as if you look at any of there turbo diesel tunes most provide a lot more than a 25%power increase.

I went with Adrian Flux in the end they only wanted around £80 more to cover the chip,big brakes,sports suspension,wheels,etc I would try them.

definately speak to greenlight.. they insured me with all mods covered cheaper than allother companies would insure me on the standard car!

People have good and bad experiances with all insurance companies.
Greenlight once said to me "we've sent you enough letters already, we're not sending you anymore"
Adrian Flux phoned me up while I was on holiday once and said "we're cancelling your insurance because the person who did the quote made a mistake, we can't insure you" so I had to sort out insurance while on holiday and the car was at home parked on the road!

That is shocking service !! I have not had any luck with Adrian Flux either but some people swear by them .. All a bit hit and miss I think .. I had my 300bhp vxr insured with budget, then they refused to insure my fr170 because of all the optional extras fitted, it doesn`t make sense at all ...

OK so what are peoples opinions of Green Flag? I just got an amazing-ish quote from them, and am now seriously considering switching to them. Has anyone had to make a claim with them, and if so did you have any problems? and how is the service?
