Any information on when a remap will likely be released by Revo for the new 1.5tsi evo engine

cannot for the life of me understand why one is not available yet even though it's probably the most common engine in new audi's / skoda's / seat's / volkswagen's

Yes be nice to know if one is in the pipeline

No other tuners list the 1.5 tsi either but with it being the replacement for the old 1.4 tsi there would be a big market for the 1.5 tsi i would of imagined

The closest i have found is a tuning box company called bluespark

they currently have a tuning box for the 150 tsi evo which bumps it up to 186bhp i think.

i have spoke to them and they expect the 130bhp version ready by the end of this month and have said it is currently acheiving 151bhp in tests.

i know a remap is a better solution so i spoke to revo who are looking at 12 months plus for one to come out. So tuning box looking like only option at the moment

I don’t know about you but I was hoping for a little bit more power than 151bhp.

A 20bhp increase probably isn’t worth the potential hassle imho.

Yes i was also hoping more than 151bhp

but then again it is fundamentally a complete different engine to the 150bhp. So maybe 151bhp is all that it can produce

its not the same as in previous engines when the hardware was the same and the bhp output levels were software only. Completely different injectors and turbo i believe.

even the compression ratio is different from the 130 to 150 varients

It may only be 20hp of peak BHP but could be lots more torque or larger increase mid range power.

I never bothered in the end
Revo told me at the time 12-18 months for a remap and i never followed through with the quantum tuning option
