Hi,

I've just checked my Cam Follower, and it looks ok? I have a replacement, so is it worth changing or shall I get a refund?

Tbh, I'm not sure what a faulty one looks like?

It's from a 2007 Cupra with 40K miles:

There is clear wear there. You have broke through the top black coat. Definitly replace it. It's only a few quid.

Since you have remove the cam follower...

You may as well replace it as the new follower will have more coat protection on it than the one you have removed.

Just reminded me I need to check & replacement.

Yeah, you're both right.... might as well replace now I've taken it out!

When putting the pump back, should it be hard to push it back in? It feels like the Cam Follower needs to be pushed back futher, but it wont?

Yeah it's perfectly normal for it to be hard as you need to push the spring in.
