Hiya guys, occassionally the revs hunt up and down on my car after rolling up to a standstill just after dipping the clutch to come to a complete standstill, Jock at westec thought it might been because the spring wasnt strong enough in my Forge dumpvalve which iIve now changed but it made no difference. If i rev the car and then allow it to settle to idle it clears the problem...any suggestions?

It only does it once in a while but i'd like to sort the small problem before it turns into a big one!

Mine went through a phase of that, then I took the n249 off the car and it stopped.

Opens the dv when the ecu detects a boost spike. Car has run so much better since I took it off.

Before you try anything major, just check if your clutch sensor clip (white cone shaped clip just above the clutch pedal) is FIRMLY in place. Mine came loose and it revved after gearchanges.

do you mind checking mine at some point? what exactly does the MAF affect then when its broken? any suggestions why it may not be spiking as high as it should...it may just be that my boost gauge is **** but i dont think so, would be worth doing some live mapping to check actual vs. requested

yeah that'd be great Daz? do you know how to interpert the information VAGcom will tell us about the running of the car so we can hopefully sort the problem? i genuinely dont mean to be cheeky when i say that so please dont take it that way its just for i know you may have just got it and expect me to know how to use it! I dont know! havent got a clue!
