Ride height

Hi all,

Just had new genuine SEAT rear dampers and springs and front struts fitted and the car seems to sit a little higher than before.

I've heard of this but wanted to make sure it was normal. Will it settle after a while? It feels great btw.

No idea. But when I had my H&R springs fitted I got back to work, parked up and thought meh, wish they were lower. Couple of weeks later I left work and thought thats low!

The springs will probably settle in after a week or so, but new parts are likely to sit a little higher than the old ones just through age/wear and tear.

New springs will always settle a little, no matter the make etc.
