theiving tossers should be strung up, and left for the crows to pick bits off em, even thats too good for them [:@]

It seems there are now "gangs" operating at various modified car type events.

What I didn't realise also until reading the info on MLR was that 4 cars were stolen from Santa Pod too last month.

Total pisser indeed but he's gonna get another one as he likes how Simon Norris's green bogie managed a 9.6sec 1/4mile run today.

i would hate if that happed to me or anyone i know.

that's why i got rid of mine :(

had it 10 months, it was broken into twice

also, it was dropped so low there was no clearance, there was no boot room due to subs and amp racks, i think i averaged 12mpg, and it ate tyres like they were going into extinction!!!!!!!!!!!!

bit of a pisser for Rob tho. I still where my Huffy shirt, even tho he now drives for chevvy :hide:

I was chatting with him yesterday, he's still pretty p1ssed at it (and fair enough too)

amazing how you can loose so many cars somewhere & nobody not notice.

trackers are about as much use as a chocolate tea pot if you know the few places that they can be fitted in a car.

so break in, remove it - then there's nothing that will spot it

having never been to santa, whats the set up like there?

lots of cars parked miles from the event?

im just trying to get my head round a car being taken at a busy place like that.
assuming it had a good alarm?

or is this a case of a car being left open to being nicked, ie unlocked etc?

perhaps the removal of small but important engine bits could be in order when visiting santa?

Reading what I've seen - a recovery truck comes along & scoops it up & takes it away

remove what you like from it & it's not a problem

When it's a RWYB the car are along side the strip parked up with people ALWAYS around them ;)

If it's an event lke Jap Show/Red Line Rumble/Gti Festival the cars will be parked in the fields(unless you are running up the strip)

The fields are quite far from the strip and not as many people will be about as they have moved over to the strip & stands

If people are going as a group/club you can phone Santa Pod(even for RWYB) and ask them for club parking so the cars can be side by side & away from the door bangers in the fields :)

i actually wrote that originally and thought no way could someone drive about with a truck and not get attention so i deleted it!

but it does sound like this can be done and liek you say you can do what you like it aint gonna stop that!

Thats gutting, can't believe peeps have the balls to rock into a car park with a recovery truck and just lift the car, I guess it only takes a few minutes.
Security on the gate needs to get wise to this, at least get the reg of the truck.
Complete ******s id be crying like a little girl if that happened to me!!
