oooooook searched the FAQ's but couldnt find much

whats the options for roof bars on the mk4?

need to get my bike around and dont fancy putting it in the back with the seats down

so i rang Seat and they tell me that bars arent out for the mk4 yet...WTF?

nah fabia's have the channel cover for bars.

the ibizas roof gutters have nothing in them

There seem to be a single bolt hole on the top of the door frame near the rubber is this perhaps for attaching roof bars

BKR has got a set. Can't remember which kit exactly. I borrowed them once, and were fine with two bikes on from Nottingham to York and back. I did however, scratch the roof a tiny bit when removing the bars in the dark!

I've got Thule aero bars with 2 cycle carriers. Great piece of kit, bikes are solid when clamped up.

I bought a set of automaxi bars, they work just fine. I believe these are for your car?

They are incredibly noisy at speed (60+), but they're well built and fit quite nicely. That auction has a link to the fitting instructions, so you can take a look and see if they make sense based on what you know of your car.
