Yep ive still got them

I used to do 60 mile daily commute in my TDi, it was perfect for that, and someone on here does 170 miles a day in theirs, so they are fine for long trips anyway.

What engine was you lupo? i carnt remember, was it a 1.0? the older SE version wasnt it?

Id like a GTi too, although i carnt see me ever getting one, id rather have something totally different for my next car, but that wont be for a year or two anyway.

looking good fella,

i've just fitted the very same pedal rubbers, oddly i couldn't get my accelerator pedal rubber off, so just glued the other on top....

The standard accelerator pedal cover just unclips if I remember right. I did have to use a small angled, flatblade screwdriver to get it off though.

Got a few pics from VWNW with my 2 little purchases I got from there.
First walk around I managed to get me some chrome heater switches for £15 and then on the 2nd walk around I spotted the LC Charles stand and got me a set of SEAT chrome teardrop mirror covers (£35) to replace the matt silver Ibiza FR covers I'd put on a few weeks ago.

Gotta get me 12 months road tax this month @ £140 and also I think the front wheel bearings need replacing so spending will be at a mimimum for a while.
Looking for some idea's but a 40mm drop will happen sometime this year and then new wheels next year.

Looking good.

Get the car detailed by a pro or do it yourself and you will see a massive improvement!

Not a lot done lately as mostly been concentrating on other things + repairs to the Leon.
What I thought was wheel bearings actually turned out to be rear brake pads and discs (£45 from PMF), another set of coil packs and the center exhaust pipe went (1 1/2 months after replacing the rear silencer).
Only things left on the repair list is to replace the dimmer switch and to find out what is causing the car to cut out and the idle revs to jump about.

Have taken a few things off the car and replaced them with the standard parts (leather steering wheel, handbrake, 6 disc changer, chrome grill kit, headlight protectors)

Have replaced the Aura cd headunit with a new Kenwood one (got it free so can't complain lol) and also a badgeless grill from Rennsport in Burslem, Staffs.

Very nice, i like the new wheels [B)] Keeps things more simple.

Although the multispoke cupra? ones were nice also.

I really have a soft spot for the mk1 Leon, had one as a loan car for a few days and loved it, thought it was just the right size too, and handled very well.

Cheers guys :)

The Leon flew its mot. 3 in a row with no problems :)

Fog lamp kit has arrived but no bulbs were supplied in the kit though. Everything else is in the kit. Have ordered a set of H3 bulbs and hopefully they will arrive tomorrow morning so it will be an early start to get the front end stripped and fit the new wiring loom and get it all back together ready for the Staffs meet.

Oh yeah. The now tapes were from when I first bought the Leon. It only had a tape player for a week until I managed to get a cd changer.
I'm 30 so I do remember when those NOW tapes were released :p
