Seat don't do sound deadening...

Anyone wondering why their Mk4 Ibiza is so noisy... well it's because SEAT don't do sound deadening :whistle:

Notice how there's no sound deadening on any of the panels. And they're all thin metal. :doh:

christ you have been busy i need tov do that when i take mine to pod how much did all the interior weigh!!!! well i dont think that is going to rattle anymore!

lol yea the bigger part of the rear seat is very heavy bet that dynamate has added a fair bit to the car!!! can wait to se the finished pics of it!

Nice shot of the extra speaker in the first pic. ;) :lol:

Quite interesting to see what it's like when it's all stripped out actually. The road noise is bad sometimes, unless you're on a super-smooth road.

Seat don't do sound deadening....... but if they did it would probably be the best sound deadening in the world.

Sorry couldnt help myself, why have you taken it all out, is it for an install or for light weight?

how much weight do you think it would add to dynamat ALL the panels (roof included)? That'd make the car feel like a vault. BTW that's not an extra speaker, just a cover for the gas tank sender

relax silver bullet, its a running joke that someone asked a while back why there was a speaker there hehe.
pete, why would you ant noise reduction when you have that refined 4 pot growl of pd power!

But you forgot to mention SEAT's secret weapon – the little strip of foam sealed in a polythene bag and stuffed over the rear wheel arch. Makes all the difference!:whistle:
