seat ibiza 1.2 2004 beeping noise

hi guys

my daughters car makes a beeping noise when she is driving, ive taken it on a short spin no warning lamps illuminated and no beeping noise.

she says the beeping noise is once lasting about 2.5 seconds and has occured several times.

any guess anyone as to what it is

May sound silly but has the hand break been left slightly on? I had this happen to me before, my car started beeping then I realized that my hand break light was on, took it fully off and it was alright....

Sounds like the warning buzzer when the handbrake is left on, do you know if the brake warning light flashes on too or not?

If it isn't the handbrake left on, check the brake fluid level as it will beep when it's low when going around corners breaking or accelerating.

Are you sure its not the cold weather warning ?
Mine beeps at me when im driving if the temperature is below 4Degrees
Also flashes a snow flake

checked brake fluid its still at maximum mark, weather today reached 6 degrees so doubt its cold weather warning but could be wrong as it happened at the bottom of two steep hills with a river between them thanks anyway ill keep an eye on it for that one

I'm having issues where my fuel beep goes off then light goes out then a few miles down the rd it beeps again

Sounds like the frost indicator. Ask her if a snowflake shows beside the temprature after it beeps?

If the outside temp drops to ~3 degrees the car will beep and display a flashing frosty snow flake symbol next to the outside temp display.
