Sorry guys this is my second Readers Ride, my first one was got messed up and a failed edit lost pretty much all the information. So I'd thought I would start again and make this one! Because this first post is so long in the thread, if you are quoting any specific area could you only quote that part instead of the full post. Thanks

This is my first ever Seat and its the 1.4TSI - The easiest thing for me to insure, you dont even want know the prices I was getting quoted on the larger engine models. I guess being 19 has something to do with it! Anyway absolutely loving the car at the moment. Got a bit of presence with the BTCC kit, exhaust and spoiler etc. So its currently got the BTCC kit, K1 spoiler and exhaust and a few things here and there.

Below are the pictures when I went to collect the vehicle:

I've now removed the 'K1' badges from the sills. So its just the carbon vinyl.

I always had a few ideas of little mods I wanted carried out and I started these asap!
Firsty I bought some 'carbon' sills off ebay - Nothing special about these. Was unsure whether to leave them bare or add the K1 badges.

After this I was looking at getting my lights tinted slightly but then I was told to try out the Fly Eye Kit, at £13 for a large sheet I thought it was worth a shot!
To start I only did the side repeators

I then got a hold of some new 6000K reg plate bulbs - Cheap simple mod that makes a big difference! A few before and after shots.

Also got a rear shot from this day and was told to get the area behind the reg plate finished in black - ran up a photoshop of what it would look like

Really liked the results, might look at getting it down over the coming months.

Next mini job was changing the front bulbs - I bought the Osram Nightbreakers but felt that they looked still very yellow, so I bought MTEC Cosmo White Diamond! Very similar

Thats where the car stands at the moment, still got mods here and there to carry out under the bonnet, exterior and interior! Keep progress updated through this readers ride!
Apologies again for the length and volume of pictures. Opinion welcome!

As i said in your last rr, this looks nice mate :) id love a white leon, might get one next in a couple of years :p
are you going to lower it or leave it as it is?

Thanks again mate. Yeah lowering it is on my plans, but after I get new rims for it! Like to try get a hold of 18's or 19's - Seen a few Leons with the RS4 rims on them they look really smart! But just waiting for the cash and it'll be done!
Got the spoiler and bumper wrapped today (attempted the interior but gave up - will tackle another day) Waiting to get the pictures online.

Today I got my spoiler and part of rear bumper wrapped in black gloss. Keeping this black and white theme going with the roof, rims, mirrors and lights etc. Really happy with the outcome on both parts.

Excuse the bubbles/rough part on the rear bumper, its where previous tape etc have been on to hold the reg plate on. Once my plates back on it'll look alot better.

Made an attempt at wrapping the interior but got frustrated and gave up so thats a task for the weekend.. hopefully!

Thanks for the comments guys! I had already paid off my insurance on a previous car but they charged me just over £200 to change it over so all in it came to about £1050 for the year (paid upfront so its cheaper).

I recognise that car - used to be in Aberdeen :)

Doesnt the tint on the lights restrict the light output?

Yeah thats correct, previously owner sold on and I brought her to Glasgow!
Not on the Fly Eye Kit, because of the large amount of small holes in the kit they claim that all light will get through..Ive certainly not noticed any downfall in light ahead. Cheap, simple and easy mod no complaints. Other tint films such as Laminx I believe does affect the light output though!

Lovely car mate, you've done a cracking job so far! Hope to see you along at one of the Xscape meets in the future :D

Yeah thanks a lot mate! Funny that, just as you posted that I comment on the latest meet saying that I'm hoping to make it along for my first. Try my hardest to make it this Sunday

Made an attempt to remove some of the panels on the dash in preparation the colour change, white gloss looks to be the winner with some carbon thrown in to mix it up. Very easy to remove - talking 10 minutes max! And on the plus I broke nothing, lost nothing and snapped nothing.
