Ordered the wrong one and it seems a faff to spend half the refund on postage back to Germany so ...

Bought for 2002 TDi 110 please note this is the one WITHOUT bore for oil level sensor (that's why it's the wrong one and up for sale)

Ridex oil sump brand new, part number 59200002 for engine codes ASV, AHF, AGR, ALH

£10, collect Bristol by Sunday 16th August at the latest or pay postage - cost me not much change out of 30 with postage.

No haggling, it will make a lovely nuts and bolts tray if it doesn't go.

This one https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ridex/12759051 which is currently out of stock.

Hasn't it got the pre-cast indentation for the oil level sensor as you can drill them out easy enough?

Yes and it does look drillable but I have the right one all fitted now and I would consider it too much hassle considering the price of a new one. I'm afraid we had quite a saga with this and I can't cope with any more hassle, a log dropped from an unsafe load by a nice van man who failed to stop ended up costing us over a grand by the time we'd got another temporary car on the road right in the thick of lockdown. We laughed ...

Oh and we laughed even more when we got a phone call from the council's insurers trying to reclaim the cost of cleaning up my oil off their road - can you believe the cheek of it?
