Hi all

I’ve got a 2019 Leon Cupra on a lease, it was due to go back in April but had to extend due to waiting for my new one to be delivered.

My cars showing up for an oil service due but it’s going back in August.

I can check the oil my self obviously but just wondering if you know if I need to take it serviced as it’s a lot of money on a car I will be getting rid of in 2 months!

cheers

I think the obvious thing to do is ask the garage? If they're happy to leave it then get it in writing! Don't risk giving them a reason to take more money off you when it comes to the switch over.

If its due for a service or MOT you will have to do it. You only dont have to if the car is actually not due on the date you return it.

It's worth checking the terms and conditions for the lease though. You might find the penalty for not doing the service is less than what a service would cost.

Maybe, but is it worth the risk? If its a 3 year lease then the warranty is also up, no warranty and no service.. hmm.

I assume the OP has MOT'ed the car?

Im also slightly confused, if the car was due to go back in April, wouldn't the service be also due in April?
