Service during lockdown (returning lease car)

Hi all,

Anyone here returned their lease car recently? If yes, I know car needs to be serviced prior (or as per the agreement), however, is this even possible under lockdown conditions? Or did the BCA just said, it's ok when they collected it?

When my VW lease was up last year the service wasn't due, however it was during peak covid so they couldn't collect it. It sat on my drive for a few months unused, when they did eventually collect it it was saying it needed a service but the guy who collected it said nothing about it and just took it, had no complaints. I had servicing included in the cost so I guess it made no difference to them anyway as I had already effectively paid for it.

Servicing should still be available, got mine booked in for major service tomorrow, not a lease car though.
