Shell V-Power!!

Hi everyone

Just wanted to know if anyone is using the new fuel by shell called V-power? Believe its 99 RON so sounds quite good .. i guess optimax is no longer being manufactured now, my car is revo'd for 98 RON fuel i.e optimax so hope putting this fuel in is ok

V-Power is basically a rebranding of Optimax, V-Power has been used in Europe for a number of years, they don't have Optimax, its Shells new high octane fuel, its fine to use in your REVO tuned car.

Couple of bhp at most...

I've got a Saxo VTS at the moment and I religiously use Optimax / V-Power. Doesn't make it noticeably quicker but I get an extra 30 miles to a tank out of it

And I get 2.5 Shell Pluspoints for every litre I spend, only a couple of months away from getting a free iPod!

If you have access to VAGCOM and an SPS3, you can dial in the best performance versus the fuel octane, by upping boost and timing.
