Its the front and rear lights are LED if you have the LED pack, but a 2015 should still have normal indicator bulbs.Sorry for reviving a dead thread but I’m having a mare.
my side light and indicator bulbs are dead and I’m due an MOT tomorrow. I took my Leon to Halfords it’s a 2015 FR) and they told me they can’t replace the bulbs as they LED and I need to take it to Seat.

But if all the indicator bulbs and side lights aren't working, it may just be blown fuse.
I think what @Damo H was trying to establish is if ‘all’ lights front/back/LHS/RHS or as you say RHS only.Ta
It’s just the right hand side indicator/side lights. Seems they’re LED pack after all - just called a German car specialist and they reckon it’s a ecu thingy as they’re3 in each side #cluelessme
HiI think what @Damo H was trying to establish is if ‘all’ lights front/back/LHS/RHS or as you say RHS only.
Is it affecting just the front light unit or the back too? Also, does it stop the hazard lights working on this side too? If the answer is yes to both then it would indicate a fuse - there is a fuse for the the left lights and a separate one for the right lights.
If just the front sidelight/DRL and indicator, then there are a few other things to check.
I'm not sure the DRL can be replaced on these lights, but the indicator can.Hi

It’s ex demo and loaded with extras tooI'm not sure the DRL can be replaced on these lights, but the indicator can.
Do you ave a picture of your car to be 100% sure its an LED car?
Yeah, most early Leons had LED in the UK as a "Free" extra. It’s ex demo and loaded with extras too
Yeah, I thought as much, I’ll get looking. Thanks DamoYeah, most early Leons had LED in the UK as a "Free" extra.
Looks like I was wrong, I was sure the indicators on the earlier LED were still bulbs (Rears where as I replaced them myself).
But according to the manual, even the pre facelift was full LED at the front. This is the page from the 2015 Leon Manual:

So sadly I think apart from checking the wiring and connection, it is likely you'll need a new light. You maybe able to get a refurbished one to save some £££.
It’s a huge headache! Can’t believe just because an indicator isn’t working my car is off the road and has no mot and it could cost me up to a grandYears ago I had a 2014 Leon Technology which had front LED light units, I had done a lot of mods to the lights and indicators using Obd eleven (long coding), the day before its mot was due I thought I'd better change everything back to standard for its mot, I don't what I done wrong but I ended up with no side light on the passenger side - needless to say it cost me just under £1000 for repairs which included a new control unit and another part, which I cannot remember.
Took nearly a week to fix at dealers, because parts had to be ordered, luckily they lent me a loan car.
Not that this helps, but condensation is normal, these lights are not 100% sealed to allow the to keep cool. It’s a huge headache! Can’t believe just because an indicator isn’t working my car is off the road and has no mot and it could cost me up to a grand
ive got a few options - it seems as my car has been hit (albeit not hard) whilst in a public car park 3 months ago - (and I just remembered this as it’s popped my side panel out in the wing about a cm) the light might be damaged as it’s got a misting of condensation in, it’s probs best to replace the headlight unit and modules.
Cost £1100 new, £700 from euro car parts or go thru insurance as have PNC and get the whole thing repaired for £550 ( my excess)
just been told about a site called Parts gateway and I have been offered a used one for £400 - still need the ecu/modules though.
* sigh*
Sooo peed off! I’m driving my daughters 22 year old fiesta and it’s making me stabby

Thanks. I tried that and ended up coughing up £550 to my insurance for a replacement headlight unit etc.^^ This
Before dropping a huge amount of cash on a replacement, deffo worth a go unplugging and plugging in the connector on the back of the headlight a few times and if possible giving the inside of the wiring plug a squish of switch cleaner (or even WD40 if you don't have switch cleaner).
You'd be amazed how often that trick works and if it doesn't you haven't lost much.
