i feel as if my turbo seals are on the way out?

recently had a full exhaust system including downpipe and decat.

went for an enthusiastic (spelling) drive yesterday, stopped for a minute or so, then when i pulled away i noticed a puff of blue smoke.

when i got home i popped off the boost pipe which goes to the manifold and there was oily deposits in there, not much but oil was present. i gave it a wipe out best i can and went for another drive, and if im honest i havn't noticed any more smoke.

im guessin the lack in back pressure would put more stress on my turbo oil seals?

iv put about quarter of a litre of engine stop smoke stuff in which is like really thick engine oil, which is designed for turbo cars to try and slow the leak down.

as i say iv only ever noticed the smoke the one time but was curious if anyone else has had this problem?

thanks.

If your really worried get it checked out.
Every custom Exhaust I had did this for about a Week of regular driving (Where the exhaust gets very hot)

Seems its just burning away some chemicals from the exhaust.

If there are oily deposits in the pipework coldside, then yes its oil from the turbo, strained by the lack of back pressure - caused by a free-flowing set up, ie decat!

could stay the same, could get alot worse very quick, just keep your eye on the smoke I guess..

Also the smell of fuel is because the lower sensor isn't telling the ECU that the mixture is correct.
So it richens it up so the CAT will heat up quicker.

However there is not CAT.... so it will never heat up.
So you run rich.
It will do it even if you map it out

Dito, only had the decat / high flow exhaust on standard map for like a week before the stage 2, then its fine! the decat will alow some white smoke on tick over as its just condensation due to not getting caught in the cat. And the blue smoke is unburnt fuel - I have this after like a week of miss daisy driving / a bit of overfueling due to a split breather hose on my PCV. All in all, if you tinker with remaps etc- gota keep an eye on the rest of the car!!

Blue smoke is oil being burned and black smoke is unburned fuel, on petrol cars.
All de catted cars smoke to a certain extent
