Smoke on idle through vents

Anyone had smoke coming through the air vents in a deisel leon? Can't seem to find where it's coming from after it being in a few different garages.

sounds light waters getting on your header matrix?? tried having a look where your pollon fitter gos?? for any water?

You're meant to have water in the heater matrix aren't you?

Is that bad mate? I'm gonna have a look at the pollen filter tomorrow. Fed up with the smokey fumes everytime I use the heaters.

Do the fumes smell oily? Maybe you have a small oil leak from the engine and the hot engine burns the leaked oil that dribbles down the hot engine and makes a bit of oil smoke. This could get in through the heating/ventilation.

I doubt that it's exhaust fumes because you would hear if your exhaust had a hole in it.

no coolant is there could have a small leak your coolant level okay? and what dose your smoke smell of ? and check all your rain water run off points around bottom of your windscreen ?? they can block up and allow water to enter the heaters is it only when your at a stand still??

It smells just like the fumes coming out of the exhaust. Really fed up with it. I can smell it outside the car too.

check your exhaust manifold for leaks on the black can be leaking and bin sucked in by ya heater fan ??

i had a leon before it had one really small hole in the gasket and was leaking in to the cabin so have a good look pal

Yeah my fumes do that to my mates egr was the cause on his ibiza

Ah right. Was thinking of getting an egr delete done too. Is the ibiza running ok now
