Snapped Base Mk2 Leon Wing Mirror

Hi all

I think I know the answer but thought Id check

My mother has done a job on her Seat Leon wing mirror reversing out of the garage......its snapped off. The metal base attaching the mirror to the car has snapped leaving part of the metal attached to the car and part attached to the wing mirror.

From searching here I think she has to buy a new wing mirror in its entirety but id thought Id ask.

Is this a job for DIY - I see you have to remove the door panel unfortunately

Tough to do???

Don't really have any info on the mirror, not had to do mine.

That tells you how to go about the door card though. Can't see any reason why mirror shouldn't be DIY.
