Went to Nottingham for a party and left the car parked on the road....

Drove home early Sunday morning.

Got up the following day to find someone had kicked in my rear drivers door!!!! :censored: I now have 4 dents in the same door 2 inward creases and 2 outward creases where the skin obviously hit something internal..... None to impressed!!! Any ideas on fixing it? Has anyone had someone like dent master look at there car?

Can you help with numbers for dent removal in South Yorkshire....? The only bonus is that the paintwork is not damaged, thats what makes me think someone put there knee into the door! [:@]

To$$ers eh Bruce

Try Chipsaway.co.uk or ask SirSparkster where he got his painting done (bump strips etc) as they did quite a nice job on the paint mate

This happened to me over Xmas. If the metal is creased then sounds like a new doorskin or new door to me.

I am hoping someone like dent master can fix it...

Got a quote from Dent Devils for £100 + Vat... I suppose its ok but these things should not happen!

Sorry to hear about yours EDC.

Even a minor non-crease withno cracked paint hit like mine looks like it needs a bit of filler and paint

What happened to yours?

Do the Leons have double skinned doors?

slightly off topic:

dents without damage to paintwork - whats the best fix for these? I dont want a respray cos that sounds expensive - can dents be "undented" lol and pushed out to original?
Got some on mine that need doing.

It got hit, that's all I know as I wasn't there! Didn't even notice as the dent is so minor but a foot long on my front wing plus car is filthy. Only noticed as odd reflection after rain. Had my fleet manager look it over for second opinion and we both reckon it will needs pulling out and probably a skim of filler and paint. ~£150 cash.

Don't know if Leons have door skins, don't own one.

You can 'bash' them out. If there is no crease and cracking not too bad, but a very noticeable dent will mean the metal has been stretched so you will prob need a bit of filler and prob a bit of paint.

agree totally, rippling effect will put off prospective future buyers

a decent panel beater will be able to fix, but at a premium.

I've used Chipsaway and can recommend them. Got a big dent out of the rear wing on my LCR, broken paint work. They matched the paint perfectly. £150 all in.

when i spoke to chips away they said they couldnt help - admittedly it was only over the phone and nobody has actually looked at my car yet.

Have heard good things about a local company called colourtech around the corner from my SEAT dealer... might have to pop in and see them at some point :)

Hey Pabs, Panelrite in Millbrook do a pretty good job! Dan got his front end done by them and it they did a nice clean tidy job and even cleaned it up afterwards.

Brucel, i had the exact same thing done to my LC, only difference, it was the drivers door.
The panel was not creased and the paint not cracked, dent magician and alike could not do a repair, so off to the body shop it went.
1 new door later it returned, thanks god for insurance, if i had paid for the repair it was going to cost £768.

Good luck

Nope this is QAH in Portsmouth, but we do support Shirley WIC as part of the NHS Direct contract.

Other sites that I deal with are Hants & IOW next to Tescos in Millbrook and Salisbury NHS.

The bumper has got that crazy paving look just above the number plate, just interested in how much it's likely to cost as I hate not have my care spot on.
