Hi, was thinking about getting some spacers for my FR, mainly to fill the arches out a little as I'm only running the stock 17's. I do intend lowering the car too, but not for a few months yet.
Whats peoples opinions on these, are they a worthwhile mod?

Thanks

I was thinking the same but never got around to it! Make sure they're hubcentric and it's probably advisable to get alignment sorted again, or at least if you feel vibration! Think H&R is what people generally use.

As standard the front has a wider track so people like to bring the rears out a little more to match.

Which is good for looks but since Seat doesn't do this without a reason, adding more that 5 mm per corner at the rear will result in less stability in a straigth line (at high speeds).

Interesting, so it's best for the front to always be wider ?

No not nescesarily but the Cupra is made for everyday use and since Seat doesn't want less talented drivers to crash on the Autobahn with 130+ mph (which is not ver good publicity) it makes the front a bit wider. If you like a lively car and don't mind to correct the car now and then It won't be a problem (but more than 10 mm per corner on the rear isn't very wise.

Cool, thanks for the info!:)
