Spare/Budget Boost Gauge **Updated With Install & Pics**

yeah, majorly misreading! its sits off the scale till 4000ish, then drops slowyl like its supposed to. very odd!

flash!!!! just found out if i'm running a 2.5bar MAP sensor it hits a ceiling at 2500-2600 mbar it get more and more confusing!

you have a 3 bar map sensor , so wont read over 2 bar boost ( subtract 1000mbar for atmospheric pressure)

So its a 2bar map sensor? i have a 2bar one and highest ive seen on it is 2490mbar (now running much lower boost but more power)

How confusing is this, maybe try my gauge on your car and get rid of the tpiece to prove its the gauge and fittings? im sure we can fit it one way or another

Phil - Yeah bad experiences with those things, ive seen autoelectricians use them on alarms and immobilisers, i laughed and drove away lol!

orginally i was just saying i found it to be inaccurate then on post 81 i had to link to my thread....

well....it is still not brilliant imo..... but for 20quid it deffo a budget gauge....

not recommended for Deisel user

get one without VAC....

I was running racing slicks, lol

I get new tyres at lunch, hopefully DP and race CAT within two weeks, may run again in Novembers RWYB just to see...

i asked nicky, rob and matt etc if they were up for goin in the near future and they were all like na wats the point unless i have done something new to my car!


i appreciate this but i just want to improve my time! i think 13.6 is possible in my car

so if ur goin in november let me know!

as close as i am to gaz then i just cant get traction as redcupra says on the 16's, pod arent getting any more of my money though, complete joke!

Once rolling i completely abliterate most things, its just the starts, so maybe is should concentrate on mid range power and top end
