Spare wheel from Mk2 fit Mk3?

I didn't get a spare wheel with my Mk3 leon (2nd hand, original purchaser didn't order a spare). I still have my Mk2 Leon as it's currently for sale- that does have a brand new spare wheel (get me home wheel) with tools. Will that spare wheel fit my new one?

My Mk2 is an FR+ with the 18" wheels, my Mk3 has the 18" wheels so I'd assume it'd be ok? if so, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it fits securely in the boot well!

I presume it will as I kept the spare from my Audi S3 (8p) and that fits my cupra 280

Personally I would check it out when the sun is shining and the car is on your drive. Nothing worse than finding it doesn't fit in pouring rain at night in a country lane.

I'd double check the size of your space saver, and that it'll fit over the front calipers. ( unless you plan to do it properly and swap wheels round) I know the Mk2 LCR came with an 18" space saver, but I seem to recall others had either a 17 or 16" , depending on which way the wind was blowing in Martorell that day......
