Spare wheel question

Wife just got new 64 plate Alhambra.

I believe there's no spare wheel.

Is there a tyre mobility kit - ie, compressor and tyre sealant?

Or is there nothing and it relies on the contiseal tyres?

Thanks - I'm very impressed with car so far.

Spare Wheel

The car relies on the contiseal tyres and tyre pressure monitoring system.

It is a good system but in the unlikely event of a failure you have to be recovered and hope the place you are recovered to has a tyre and will fit it quickly.

I have a spare wheel that I keep in the garage. In the worse case I can be recovered home and SEAT (the AA) will change the wheel at home.

For very long trips/holidays etc. I put the wheel in the back (tied down) if space.

Excellent car. Got ours (SE LUX 177 DSG) in March and it's just had the 10,000 mile oil change. My only niggle is no spare but I understand why. My last car did 90,000 miles (Skoda Octavia) and I sold it with the original, unused spare. In all the time I had it I only had one slow puncture easily sorted.

The wife's Honda has no spare but a compressor and 'gunk'. It only gets used locally so haven't got a spare for that one.

Hope all that helps or reassures.

thanks.

Just wanted to clarify. Wife mainly uses it for around town so happy enough with contiseals.

We also got DSG SE Lux and so far, well impressed.

Thanks for reply
