spring advice please

Looking at fitting some upgraded springs to the MK2 FR so hoping for advice please.

HR seem popular anyone got experience of these? Looking at the sport springs rather than super sport.

Also to go with them some wheel spacers. What mm can I get away with without threatening the arches? (I run 18"s)

I have H&R 40mm springs, improved the ride a lot over standard. I would recommend them to anyone, plus they're nice an cheap from Germany.

I also have spacers front and rear. 15mm front and 20mm rear, is perfect set up and wouldnt come close to the arches unless way lower on the suspension.

The Eibach Sportline springs are also a very popular option for the Leon 1P and worthwhile considering.

I have the Sportlines on mine and can thoroughly recommend them. Also on 18" with less offset than standard so they stick out by 15mm maybe more.

Are the Eibachs progressive?

Yes they are. 45/50mm at the front and 30mm at the back I think.
