Hi

I have a 2017 Leon Fr St, can anyone confirm the ST wheel fitment is the same as the normal car? It has the standard 17s and I'm just about to purchase a set of the Seat 18s and wanted to make sure. I've been searching Google for ages and can't find a straight answer, I'm fairly sure they are the same but would rather be sure.

Thanks

2016 pre face-lift model not a 2017*

Or I'm considering just buying new wheels and going for borbet Y rims, they come in 18x8 ET44 or ET48 also 57.1 or 66.6. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

18” OEM rim sizes are:

7.5J x 18, PCD 5 x 112, ET51, Bore 57mm. Tyres for this standard size are 225/40/R18.

For the aftermarket rims, you are looking at 1/2” wider width, but due to change in offset this will be ok - I would probably go for the ET48 (3.3 mm closer to strut/9.3 mm closer to the arch) over ET44 (0.7 mm closer to strut/13.4 mm closer to arch). Use this online calculator to check (I have used different rim sizes, but same size tyres for you to see the results - you can change the offset to see the differences):

Thanks guys, just decided to order the new borbet Y rims 18x8 ET48 57.1 with 225 40 18 tyres. A didn't see the point in paying around the 500 mark for used sport 18s that have kerbing and used tyres. I'm looking forward to getting thrm fitted next week.

They are a really nice looking rim (I prefer them to my Cupra alloys), and I think that Borbet are the OEM for several VAG wheel options so fitment will be fine.

I’d be interested to know how far out the rim spokes protrude when you get them?
