Steering Wheel Volume Control Failure

I have an October 2013 SEAT Leon 1.8TSi DSG FR 5-door hatch, and the rotary volume control on the lefthand side of the steering wheel has failed. The pushbutton (mute) function of this control still works, but the rotary volume function does nothing. Does anyone know if I can repair or replace this myself, or is it definitely a dealership job? It is difficult to see if it will just individually unclip and pull out, or if it means dismantling the steering wheel, which I don't want to risk, due to the airbag and other controls. Any advice would be very welcome.

Yup. Had to this this. But here is the post including a simple how to. Cheapest way to get the controls are from a second hand wheel. Although you may find you can clean it up once you get it out the wheel. As it just clips apart

I've successfully got the rotary volume control working again, just by using a squirt each end of the rotary control from a can of "WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner" which I purchased from Wickes, and then spinning the rotary control several times! Before this, except for the press to mute function, the volume control wasn't working at all!

Hi, registered just to say thank you so much for this suggestion. Got exactly the product and was suffering the same issue. Fixed it no issue at all. Saved me so much faff/money! Really appreciate it.
