I got mine done the day I bought the car.
If stonechips bother your OCD like they do mine then I think having a PPF is essential.
Took my car to a place called Bellissimoto in Bermondsey London. They put the PPF on the front bumper upto the lights, and stopped just before the bonnet. Can’t remember what the cost of just the PPF was since I had a new car detail and Gtechniq ceramic coating done at the same time. Think the whole bundle was under £1500. Must say Bellissimoto did a cracking job, plus the chaps that run the place have a real passion for what they do and customer service is great.

I’ve got my car booked for a complete PPF at Topaz. (near Park Royal) Any painted surface, piano/ gloss black surface, headlights are protected. Not cheap though. £4500 +vat. https://topazdetailing.com/ Went to see their operation and was blown away. Every car in there made my car look cheap.
Seeing as though a VZ2 is the most expensive car I have ever bought, I tend to keep my cars until it falls to bits, so I think it’s worth it.

I installed the CCTV at Topaz Detailing. It isn't cheap but the workmanship is very high and you will definitely be getting your moneys worth. I remember seeing amazing supercars in the bays when we were working, some of them had 0 road miles and straight off the trailer before going to the customer! Very professional operation and you will be very happy with the results.
That's good to know. My Formentor got delivered this morning and it went straight to Topaz. Mines got 22 miles on the clock now.
from what I can see from the pics, yes, its having the QC check today, if its all good then i pick it up tomorrow.
