Sub woofer amp earth point

Hi,

Does anyone know an earthing point on a mk1 leon cupra r. Had the hole boot out but can't find one. The only thing I can think to do is to get a self tapping screw. Anyone else tried?

Either drill a hole, clean the area back to bare metal, and put a bolt with a couple of washers through it. Or use one of the lower rear seat belt mounting bolts.

I used a point underneath the o/s rear lights.bolted it down on there but sanded the thread down to metal first

seatbelt mounting point sanded down.

i used the seat belt mount bolt under the rear seats

My bolt is too big for my wiring ring :/

I cut the ring on mine so that it slots up to the thread, and just tightened up the bolt again.
