I got my rockford sub in a ported box in spare wheel well. The floor has been raised 6 inches to make box big enough but put my 4 channel and all wiring in void. The box size all depends on sub you got and whether you want it ported or sealed. Mine is all 18mm mdf.

Box measures about 2.25cuft internal. You can get more out if fibreglassed wheel well.

It sounds really nice because it a proper box and not just mdf panel with sub cut in. Size of box depends on your sub and weather you want it ported or sealed.

There isn't a false floor above woofer. The woofer is mounted into false floor which in turn make baffle for the box. As you can see all the boot is sound deadend the rest of car is same.

I would like to do this on mine, however I do not want to remove the spare wheel :(

I think I will end up looking at doing a fibre glass enclosure into the back of the spare wheel!

Yeah I just got to cover it. Made it all in half a day. But sub and are going soon for soundstream stuff. Still have a boot aswell. The big black amp is hidden under the floor now.
