Sun blind mirror lights

Can I ask people on here to comment on this.
On both of the sun blinds on my Leon, the lamp illuminates when the blind is swung down from its home position regardless of whether the window covering the mirror is open or closed. The lamp will only switch off if the blind is pushed fully towards the window, or in the up position. This means that on most occasions, when I have the blind down, the lamp is on?
This is contrary to how the manual explains that it should work, i.e as the door over the mirror opens and closes, the lamp switches on and off. And having owned 2 previous Seats and 2 VW's, all of which functioned correctly, I am assuming that something is wrong. The car has been in for service today, I asked the dealer to look into the issue, and have been told that it is ok!!

No, the vanity mirror lights illuminate regardless of the headlights being on or off. The sliding cover over the mirror has no effect. The light comes on as soon as you start to lower the blind.

Trip to dealers I think, they should go out when you close sliding cover. The whole idea of the sun visor is to block the sun light so you can see, not then blind you with an internal light. Tell your dealer he's a ******** and to fix it!!

Tell him he's a bell end and find another dealer, :D
What is it with Seat dealers (maybe not all) but they just don't seem interested in customer service, my local one has tried to adjust washer jets 3 times and cocked it up every time, now looking for another near to Northampton.

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated.
To be fair to my local dealers, they have normally been pretty good so can't complain too much. Will give them the car back for another go.

Apparently the dealer in Milton Keynes is very good

Christ, you would think they had the whole rattle thing sorted by now. I get my mk 3 in a fortnight and I can see me having a go at fixing it myself if it starts rattling.
