Sun Roof...

Hi. Why doesnt the Seat Leon have a Sun Roof? thanks

Think its because the majority,if not all come with air-con as standard,but sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong.

It was an option originally, then they deleted it, then put it back on again but as as above it aint worth it if the cars got aircon...

You can't cut in an aftermarket one either. I looked into this with the one I had a few years back. There is a structural member across where one would be fitted.

I think it's mainly because of the fitment of climate control as standard although VW / Audi offer the sunroof option on most of their models even with climate.

With most owners suffering from water coming in either through the pollen filter or through the door seals I'm really glad they didn't offer the sunroof option as it would have been another cause of leakage no doubt

i got a sun roof in mine. nice to look at when its not pissing down. but i blinked and missed that part. i got a 03 model when did they take the option out?

in ma country ..... all the models after 2003 have a sunroof as an standard option... bt be4 that ... no one had it ... i was havin a seat toledo and i made one 4 it ....

Sunroof was an option from when they were launched until Feb 2001, and then was reinstated on 2003my cars.
