Supersprint Centre pipe 1.8 20VT

If i fitted this centre pipe to the standard cat converter and rear backbox would this make my car sound lounder?
I want a louder noise but dont want to spend money on whole catback system.

rip off central.
go to your local powerflow dealer and get them to remove the centre box and make up a replacement "straight through" pipe.
Will give the same effect at half the price

Would the replacement straight through pipe make the car sound much lounder?I am after a lounder exhaust noise whilst accelerating etc?

in theory yes.
but the problem is not with your exhaust it is with the turbo.
you cannot get a loud exhaust note from a VAG 1.8T without substantial modification.
