Im sure i read somewhere that there is a mod i can do to improve air flow through my twin air coolers?
Whilst the bumper is off id like to do the mod. Assuming it does exist and not just in my head.
Is there something i can do whilst the bumper is off?
Not going to go fmic as i don't usually drive my car that hard and havnt noticed loss of power when i do boot it.

Cheers Rich

A lot of people drill the inner guard or put louvres in the guard to let the air out as it has no where to go after its gone through the intercooler. You would have to do a before and after test to prove its effective. You could also replace the plastic ones for aluminium but at that point you would just be wasting money and may as well go front mount.

Thanks for the reply.
Not sure how i feel about putting holes in the inner arch.
I'll have a look when ive got the bumper off.
If i can make any improvements, i will (maybe).

You don’t need to take the bumper off to do the arch mod. Just take the wheel off on each side. There are no negative side effects to it. Quite straight forward

If you’re not experiencing heat soak then I’d just leave it as it is.
