Yeah I have to agree with most of what has been said about the TDI engine's, they are just brilliant.
I never ever thought I would be driving a TDI untill I took one out for a test drive by chance and I had to re-think what I was going to do, and I ended up going for the TDI (the torque just blew me away!).
For realistic road driving the TDI is faster, I dont fancy getting caught by one of those new speed camera's (drive on the m5 around bristol to see what I mean, tinny little ******* camera's) so I wont be doing 130+ down the motorway.
I went for the
Ibiza FR in the end insurance is just that much cheaper then the Cupra and they have now droped the price to be the same as the petrol! Though the Cupra is that much nicer looking, but I did not feel worth the extra price (love the 'stealth' of the FR, can shock a fair few people).
Oh and overtaking is bliss in a TDI, as are hills!
