Thanks guys for your input are you both on stock HPFPs? Just looked at the U Tube clips of the Nuespeed and it sure sounds wicked think i will be placing an order for one shortly as it was the one i was looking at from the start and £100+ or so cheaper than forge etc.

The video's don't do it justice, my face hurts from smirking when it makes the flutter noise, I don't run a high pressure fuel pump, as I'm only stage 1 atm. Performance wise it's great considering the cost, the stage2/+ route can be quite expensive for not much more power.
I think if I got the fuel pump I'd get everything at the same time like bigger injectors, twintercooler/ s3 int combo and the second half of my 3 inch exhaust.
But that's a lotta pennies.

heh you don't need bigger injectors for ko3 turbo :) and yes I am running HPFP (autotech) gimme shout if your going stg2 im still fixing bugs with mine no pennies to fix though (saving up for my major service + fix)

Really, If I was going to be spending money on a HPFP I'd hate to have it's performance hampered/restricted by not being able to inject the higher pressure fuel. I'm not saying you'd need it but personally i'd go for both. But i don't know what the flow rates are or capactities as it's not something i've considered.. yet ;)

oh and does the fuel pump help more at the higher end? what benefit have you found dave? Is it noticeable or is it more peace of mind thing? I was very tempted by the autotech a while back cause i knew someone selling there's very cheap due to needing a new engine.

uprated HPFP is prob a better mod than the intake. you can go stage 2+ without the intake. however you cant without the pump. you'll lose out on potential top end power without upgrading the intake, but gain huge midrange gains by fitting the fuel pump
