Toyo tyres any good?

i want to get 4 new tyres for my ibiza 1.6 sport....anyone recommend any good ones?....from reviews i've seen...these Toyo TR1's sound good....and for a good price...what do you recon?

Used T1R's on my corsa sri and handled like a go-kart, got Parada Spec 2s atm, also good rubbers but think next wheels will have toyos on them again.

i just got 2 toyo t1rs on the front after using goodyear eagle f1s for the last 2 years. so far so good. grip isnt quite as good wet/dry but the ride feels a lot nicer - not as hard..maybe thats my imagination.

still, the best quote for the eagle f1s was £74 a tyre and i got these toyos for £53 a tyre - fully fitted etc

cheers for the feedback fella's...i'll get on and order them if my mate is onto fitting them for me..they said on ebay they would fit them for free but i would have to drive to macclesfield! and thats a 2 hour drive from me! fork that! haha...mate recons his boss might get the arse cos i didnt get tyres from them! he hasnt worked there long but...will see!

there pretty good tyres probly the best you will get for that price but there are better ones out there but gettin to £100+ a corner

Decent tyres. I can't say I have as much confidence in the Toyos as I did in the Eagle F1s, however they were fitted to a different car so it's difficult to compare.

My T1Rs are fantastic, got them on all 4 corners on my MK4, grip really well in the wet. Will be buying these again

TR1s and Tr1s and Proxes. Tried them all and have been happy with price, wear rate, grip and looks... but only drive normally and not use the highway as a rally-track..
Yes there are better tyres with different compounds, wear rates, patterns and prices BUT I use blackcircles, my local fitter is included in the price and so I'm happy .... that's' my 2d worth.

I have been using T1R's for the past 4 years on all my cars.

Chose them because they are the best around for the price.
I get them from www.camskill.co.uk - then take them to my local tyre outlet to fit them (£20)

As others have mentioned, there are better tyres out there, namely Eagle F1's but they are more expensive.

t1-rs have deffinately got some rave reviews... the t1-s were prolly the best summer tyre to use a few years back, hence TVR promised on them!
