Track day tyre pressures..

Read an interesting article in what chav magazine or some such tuner mag.

They had a twingo RS on test. Ran it round same track with varying tyres pressures from 25 psi to 55 psi.

Fastest time was with both front and rears at 25 psi, higher the pressure the more understeer, or if it was the back tyres more oversteer. Then the combo of 25psi front, and 40psi back made the car tail happy for example.

Fastest 0-60 was with all tyres at 55psi.

Anyone have any comments, suggestions, real life experience on the subject?

tyre pressures is alot down to preference and the tyre itself. Best to experiment :)
