Transmission problems

The car is the 1.2 ibiza FR 2016 model, but I've read a lot of people having similar issues through the VAG range, but I haven't come across a fix as of yet.

Putting it into gear (mainly 1st, 2nd and slightly in 3rd and 6th. 4th and 5th are fine), it feels almost like its catching on something. There is a sort of resistance putting it into gear but only when moving.

I was messing with it yesterday to try and understand it and I can be doing 30mph with the clutch fully in and there will be resistance putting it into gear. If I keep the clutch in and coast, that resistance goes away as I come to a stop and the gearbox feels smooth, but then the problem starts again when I move off.

I've recently had the gearbox oil changed and its made no difference at all and I've taken it to a transmission specialist who tells me there's nothing wrong with it 🤷‍♂️

The problem can be felt under normal shifting, but when trying to shift quickly (building speed on a slip road) it feels a lot more prominent

Anyone had similar issues or have any ideas what it could be?

It should be noted that I tested to see if the clutch was dragging by following online advice- putting the clutch down, putting it in gear, revving the engine then putting it into reverse and there was no crunching noise, so I'm lead to believe that means it's fine

Cheers

I experienced the same issue today ,were you able to solve this? I have the Ibiza FR 2019 model ,i just did my 2nd yr service last week and they said everything is fine as it has only 16k Miles on it.

i am thinking to take it to seat dealer for a check but am afraid they will just ask for money and tell me there's no issue .
