Turbo Fubar??

hi people i have a 1.9 tdi 130 leon and its fantastic only just got underneath to have a proper look and excuse my useless description of it but the pipe coming from my turbo to what i think is the oil cooler in the front of the drivers side wheel the pipe where it connects to another pipe is full of dirty oil im sure this isnt normal and just wondering what it could be other than fuc**d turbo??? thanks in advance
 
I think that pipe is to your intercooler if im not mistaken mate, personally id replace the pipe and check round the area for any signs or a leak, maybe a split pipe somewhere, if your car is still running good then i very much doubt your turbo is fubar, in my experience the turbos on diesels are a hell of a lot stronger than that on petrols, ive blown one on a impreza before but never had any issues with the diesels ive owned, hope this helps

well what i forgot to add is its just had full service and cambelt change and its started making a whining noise when you let off accelerator first thought was gearbox so i parked up and revved it in neutral and still makes the stupid whine noise :|
 
Id take it back to whoever done ya timing belt mate, specially if its only been doing it since then, can you hear where in the engine bay the noise is coming from? Get someone to rev it while you have a good listen around the engine bay, if its cambelt side, maybe the tensioner is too tight? im no expert but only whining noises ive ever experienced have been from belts, or alternator,

it was my cousin over at his garage and im taking it to him monday of next week as im down london from tonight but the turbo worries me more than anything else :| i dont wanna hafta fork out for a new or recon turbo
