Another vote for rainsport 2's here, fantastic tyres.

Although I'm sure I've seen the rainsport 3's are out/on the way?

Yep, very soon, about time really the sport 2's are way behind but they are at least a 12 year old design now, the new compound I'm sure they are calling sharkskin..

Sounds good. The old design is still looks quite modern though.

currently on the cheapest tyres I could find from camskill - nankang ultrasport. now that ive got the pressures right for the money they r ok - but don't expect too much.

my choice tyre is bf Goodrich G force profiler.

To me it looks quite dated now, from a photo the 3's they do look quite good..

They should have a modern compound and you cant stand in the way of progress but I prefer the more aggressive patern of the mark 2 myself :D

Oh HANG ON !

Had another search and found this on Camskill. These look much better and are deffo more modern than the Mk2 !

Which one is correct though ?

Got nankang ns2 on mine and for the money (about £43 incl fitting) they are ok. Done 12k miles and got an advisory on MOT so only a few thousand miles left. Also got kumho ku39 on the back that are slightly better but lasted 12k and cost £65. Next (summer) tyres will be the rainsports, they last longer and perform better in every way.

Will be ordering some winter tyres this weekend tho before I get the rainsports

That one.., unless they changed their minds last week., although the photo I saw showed it mounted on the wheel the other way..
