I'd owned my brand new ibiza sport for 8 days an done less than 500miles when some kind person ran into it an wrote it off

Not to bad i thought because the insurance is replacing the car with a brand new one, but now i've got a brand new ibiza sport that i can't insure because my insurance has over doubled :(

Now i'm going to have to leave seat ownership but the question is does anybody now what it wub be worth?

Its brand new, will have only drove it back form the dealer, 3door 1.4 sport in lunar grey.

Thats :censored:!!!!

Sorry to hear that.

Have you tried looking about to see if the insurance is affordable from other company's?

No idea on value of the car.

My renewal is due at the start of feb, an had me renewal through which was just under £1385. That was before the accident though, now the cheapest i can find anywere is £2970. The car is on the drip an i just can't afford to payout anymore cash.

So unfortunatley the car has to go to pay the finance off

sorry to hear about your car mate, only had mine 3 weeks and wrote it off as you can see in my pic.
If they bumped into you, you dont have to tell the insurance company.

Seems to happen a lot to new Ibiza's mine had 3k worth of damage 14 days after buying it (and I had to use my Insurance). Have you tried www.bell.co.uk they we're really helpful with me and gave me a reasonable quote even after my accident. Hope you can get it sorted out!

Done all they can, took paint samples off my car 2 try an identify it an also tried looking at cctv from that area for a damaged car. But it was in the middle of nowere so aint much cctv an i never managed to see what the car was. Belive me i wud luv 2 find out who it was 2sort out my insurance an 2pay a visit to them one nite with a few mates an giv em a good hiding.

If it had happened 50m down the road it wud of ended upside down in a river not just upside down in a field an me an my gfd cud of drowned, but luckily we both only had scratches.

Why not get your parents to insure it for a year and get a run around, they could keep it for you getting your 1 year no claim bonus. There has to be a better idea than selling a brand new car

Because i cant afford 2keep the car an pay the finance on it each month aswell as buy an insure another car. No matter wat car i get even ifts a £500 banger thats in group 2, they still want £1900 tpft for insurance.

then take civil action against the person who crashed into you and make them cough up for your insurance:)
