Hello,

just wondering if anyone else has had this update and if it’s taking as long as it is for me? This is the second update I’ve had since collecting the car. The first 2/3 of the bar load with in seconds then it gets stuck and has been like this for atleast 10/15mins.

I had update on Tuesday and left the car when it was on around 75%. Next day car said all updates applied. Today had another update (or the same one?), again left the car at similar stage. Will check next time if it was applied or not.

Thanks for getting back to me, when you say left the car do you mean you left it unlocked?

Ive had that update sail twice on me today. Still trying to get it to complete.

It gets to about 2/3rds complete then fails.

I’ve gone down early before work in the hope that I can do the update, tried it three times and gets stuck. When you drive it stops downloading and I don’t want to sit in the car for half an hour waiting for it parked up. Not sure what to do about it

Same for me...

Same for me, I sat for 45 minutes or more but the progress bar doesn’t move from 2/3.

It is just sw update for the infotainment system right? The rest of the car sure would benefit from sw updates...

I think mine has worked now, I left it updating and came back about 2 hours later. I’ve no longer got the red dot to show there is an update to do.

But nowhere can it be found from version, to version, whether it succeeded or not, no history, no log. Crap.

Updates pause when you leave the car (ie turn engine off) and it resumes next time the car is started.

I saw this, what a silly way to manage updates.

I also saw it said the update was free, yet it took 500MB from my paid for data plan.

When it says the update is free is because after the initial years ownership from new you have to pay for updates.

Download costs are going to be for everyone but unluckily for you it is using you car data rather than a standard mobile data source.

I very much struggle to believe that system updates will be chargeable after the 1st year.

I agree they would have a hard time trying to charge customers for system updates especially while the cars are under warranty.
